well ive havent had this situation in a long time but i think i remember its because you have somehow reset it when you repaired the ss board

You havent specified what type of Emerson combo is yours. Anyway I hereby posts some Emerson combo codes.
TV/VCR

Where the code is listed as [### ###] the first is for the TV and the second is for the VCR. Otherwise just the one code operates both the TV and the VCR

Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand

If you forget your pass code, you can view the locked
TV without entering your pass code. When you are
prompted for your pass code, press the number 9 and QV
buttons on the TV remote control at the same time. This
process temporarily unlocks the TV
When entering the Parental Lock menu, this process
deletes your old pass code and prompts you to enter a
new pass code. Press EXIT to exit the menu.

I suggest purchasing a universal remote control for just a few dollars at your local walmart, kmart, etc. You could then use the automatic code search function of the remote to program it to your tv. I hope this helps! Der Strom

Just off the top of my head I think the code was 720... I havent installed DishNetwork dishes in a while though.. I will double check to get you the right code.
