Vista installation When trying to install my new Manhattan 8x6 tablet on vista, the setup files for the Photoshop CS Painter IX trials work, but when I try to install the drivers or the PenSuite software, I'm given the error: "The setupext.inf file cannot be found. Please verify the distribution diskette." Trying to run the program under compatibility modes has not helped.

i have same problem....downloa driveres from web suit but pensuite program was not available ...cant customize my sensitivity etc yet

Try downloading updated drivers from the manufacturers website as this may be a known issue for winXP

Bamboo Fun won't work w/ provided software

I had the same problem when I got my laptop (Vista OS). The solution is to update the new driver for your bamboo. They are out of date so you need to go here: http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=196 Updated @ Apr. 9, 2009

This update should allow Vista to find it.

Cannot install photoshop elements 6 in vista home edition

There is a problem with the auto-extractor.

Manually extract the files from the downloaded file using Winzip and extract to a new folder. Then run Setup.exe from that folder.

Also, make sure that your Temp folders have been cleared out.

Could not find Windowx XP Driver for MousePen 8x6!

Hello,

You are getting this message as this product is tested for Vista Only. However that does not mean that it wont work on the XP. You can continue the installation even when you are getting this message and it should work fine on the computer.

Mustek Be@rPaw 1200 cs scanner/Vista OP system

Very simple: download from Mustek site ONLY VPDriver.exe. Then open it and store files in a directory. Open Hardware directory on System properties, locates the unistalled item related to USB scanner, select reinstall drivers and point to the directory previous. Vista locate drivers, intall them and our scanner runs correctly with all programs (ex. OpenOffice Draw, etc).

Resolution? Problem with Graphic Tablet.

also cannot use with multiple monitors. pen only works on primary display and there is no setting to fix.
might have to RMA and buck up to a Wacom....

I had a similar problem myself, this is due to temp files which are extracted during an installation. What happened is that a program extracted a setup file that was Read only into the temp directory. and that this file could not be overwritten or deleted, by the system (as it should be able to. to fix look in your temp directories to find this bogus setup file, when you find it delete it.
