SOURCE: Timer on dryer counting down too fast

Now that there is a good one. Everything you are saying leads to a control board failure. Did you replace the board yourself, or have someone else do it? I have before gotten a new control board of the shelf, and it be as bad as the one I was replacing. Just a thought. Let me look around and see if I can find some other information, just really sounds like a bad part.

SOURCE: Dishwasher runs for a long time

If your dishwasher's cycle times are too long, check these:

Water pre-heating
Cycle not completing
Water pre-heating Yourdishwasher may pre-heat the water. If so, and if the water entering thedishwasher is cool, the heater may take up to half an hour to heat thewater.

To avoid the wait, increase the incoming watertemperature before turning on the dishwasher. Do that by running thekitchen sink faucet until the water runs hot. Or increase thetemperature of the hot water to the entire house at the hot waterheater.

Warning! To lessen the risk of scalding, don't set the hot water heater temperature higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have a front loader washer Kenmore Elite Model #796.40311900 that spins SLOW, not FAST as it should on spin. The digital readout works normally.

sounds like maybe drain filter is plugged and unit is not draining fast enough. if you have drain access in front pull it out and clean it.

Dishwasher wont finish any cycles

That blinking light is trying to tell you that there is something wrong with the dishwasher. You need to fix the problem or else that blinking light will come back. And the number of times it blinks (before it pauses and repeats) will tell you (or a technician) what is wrong. How many times does it blink?

What is the length of time for the Normal Wash cycle on the Undercounter Elite model? Mine seems to run about 2 hours. That seems way too long to me.

Hi,
Nah... that is about normal for a dishwasher today....if all else fails just soak everything to death... no real cleaning anymore...

2 problems with my Kenmore Elite dryer

Hello, I would be curious to know if the dryer performs the same way on "timed" dry and "auto-dry", have you tried ? Here's a tip on how you can absolutely know if you have venting issues ( and I don't necessarily mean a "clogged" vent, there are other factors too ) Disconnect the vent at the rear of the dryer and run a cycle as you normally would and observe what happens. Also if it has the flex venting on it ( whether plastic or foil type ) get rid of it, personally I will not even service a customers dryer until they agree to change it when present. I'll watch for you reply in this post if I can assist you further. Good luck. macmarkus :)

Dishwasher runs for 3 hours

You may be running the sani-wash or heated drying. The heat element in these things takes a long time.

Check these and turn them off - then try another wash cycle and time it to see - should be one hour or less

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model# 665.15912001

Yeah, I have a similar problem. I tried to go into a suggested diagnostic run, but that didn't yield anything. I tried pushing the Sani-Rinse and Air Dry buttons back and forth a number of times. Didn't help.
At first I thought the lock-on had accidently been engaged, but disengaging the "child lock" doesn't help. The lock-on light comes back on and sometimes blinks rapidly. I"ve counted around 7 rapid blinks at times and 3 rapid blinks at other times--in case that makes a difference. The control panel doesn't work--in other words, the dishwasher does not start, even when I can successfully get other lights to come on. I don't want to spend >$100. for a new control panel if that is not really the problem.
