after having used the plantronics 330 for 2 weeks, for some unknown reason I cannot pair up with it. WHY??????

  • Anonymous Nov 15, 2007

I owned one 320 plantronics, it worked fine. I purchased a second 320 to use as a spare. They both worked fine. Then one day out of the blue neither would work. I can pair it with my verizon wireless LG VX8300 phone but when I select yes to connect, it will not. At one point my husband and I used the devices interchangeably. But then neither would work.

Your idea worked I powered both phone Envy2 cellphone and Plantronics 320 headset, then powered on the phone and then the headset and it worked. Thanks very much./ Sal

I am helpconnect from above problem. I finally got my 320 plantronics wireless headset to connect. I did not have problems pairing my headset, but it would not connect. I had removed and added back the device several times with no luck. Then, I turned my phone and headset off for approx. two minutes and turned them both back on and selected the yes to connect and it did.

Why cant i get my computer to dicover my auvio pbt200 bluetooth speaker?

  1. Try playing other audio files. Ensure that audio can play fine from the same audio device when using a headphone.

  2. If Step 1 is not the case, try listening to audio by connecting the speaker to the Bluetooth device using the Aux-in cable. This will isolate if it's a Bluetooth connection issue or not. Remember to disconnect/un-pair the Bluetooth connection first.

  3. If the issue only happens when connecting via Bluetooth, do the following:
    1. Adjust the distance between the speaker and the Bluetooth device.
    2. Reset the speaker to its factory default settings. For instructions on how to reset your speaker, go to the product's support site to view the relevant knowledgebase article.
    3. Clear the current pairing entry from your Bluetooth device. For instructions on how to clear the pairing entries, consult the user's manual of your Bluetooth device.
    4. Try re-pairing the speaker and the Bluetooth device. For instructions on how to pair the speaker with the Bluetooth device, go to the product's support site to view the relevant knowledgebase article.
    5. To further isolate, try pairing the speaker with other Bluetooth device.

  4. If the issue happens when connecting either on Bluetooth or Aux-in, please contact Creative Customer Support via email.
Note: Creative Bluetooth speakers do not need any driver to operate. You may need to update the Bluetooth driver of your computer's built-in Bluetooth adapter or your USB dongle. To determine whether your computer or USB dongle is updated with the latest Bluetooth driver, please refer to their user's guide or website for information.

How to on or off bluetooth on w508i. even how to change setting of bluetooth

Hi, To set up Bluetooth on your phone

1. Go to Menu, select Connect or Connections or Connectivity:

Note! If the above steps do not work, please consult the user manual.

2. Bluetooth - Select On to enable Bluetooth.

3. My telephone's visibility - Select Shown to all if you want your device to be found by other Bluetooth devices. If you

select Hidden, your device cannot be found by other devices.

4. My Bluetooth name - Define a name for your device. After you have activated your Bluetooth service and changed

My phone's visibility to Shown to all, your phone and this name can be seen by other Bluetooth device users.

Sending data via Bluetooth

If your phone supports the Bluetooth 1.1 specification or earlier, you can only have one Bluetooth connection running

on your phone at any one time.

1. Select or open the file you wish to send. For example, to send a photo to another device, open the Gallery

application.

2. Select the file you wish to send, then select Options > Send > via Bluetooth.

3. The phone starts to search for devices within range.

Devices using Bluetooth technology that are within range will appear on the display. You should see a device icon,

the device's name, the device type, or a short name. (A paired device is one where a Bluetooth connection already

exists between your phone and the other device.)

• To interrupt the search, press Stop. The device list freezes and you can start to form a connection to one of the

devices already found.

If you have searched for devices earlier, a list of the devices that were found previously is shown first. To start a new

search, select More devices. If you switch off the phone, the list of devices is cleared and the device search needs to

be started again before sending data.

4. Scroll to the device you want to connect with and press Select. The item you are sending is copied to Outbox and

the note Connecting is shown.

5. Pairing (if this is not required by the other device, proceed to step 6.)

• If the other device requires pairing before data can be transmitted, a tone sounds and you are asked to enter a

passcode. • Create your own passcode (1-16 characters long, numeric) and agree with the owner of the other device

to use the same code. This passcode is used only once and you do not have to memorise it. • After pairing, the

device is saved to the Paired devices view.

6. When the connection has been successfully established, the note Sending data is shown. Data received via

Bluetooth can be found in the Inbox folder in Messaging. Tip: Pairing is a means of authentication. The users of the

devices using Bluetooth technology should agree together what the passcode is, and use the same passcode for

both devices in order to pair them. Devices that do not have a user interface have a preset passcode.

Checking the status of the Bluetooth connection

• When the Bluetooth icon is shown in standby mode, Bluetooth is active.

• When the Bluetooth icon is blinking, your phone is trying to connect to the other device. • When the Bluetooth icon is

shown continuously, the Bluetooth connection is active.

Receiving data via Bluetooth

When you receive data via Bluetooth, a message alert tone is played and you are asked if you want to accept the

message. If you accept, the item is placed in the Inbox folder in Messaging.

Disconnecting Bluetooth

A Bluetooth connection is disconnected automatically after sending or receiving data.

Hope it helps .

Trying to download files from my laptopato my cell phone razor v3, but authentication asks me for a pairing number

hi friend follow the below steps

  1. enable Bluetooth on your PC. To enable Bluetooth on your PC visit your control panel. You should see an option for Bluetooth devices. Select this option and make sure the technology is enabled. If you are installing a USB module, you should be able to plug it in and use it right away. If not, it should come with drivers to install (insert the disc, and install the software).
  2. Step 2 Enable bluetooth on your cell phone. Each phone is different, but you should be able to go to a settings menu, and select bluetooth. There should be an option to enable bluetooth on your phone. Enable it, and make sure your phone is visible.
  3. Step 3 Allow the PC to search for devices. It should find your cell phone. If not, you can try searching for your computer with your cell phone. Many times, with the USB modules, they have trouble finding your cell, but your cell can find your computer. The important part is that the devices connect, regardless of which device finds which.
  4. Step 4 Approve the devices to connect. Sometimes, the devices will automatically connect, and you will be ready to go. However, if this is not the case, refer to step 5.
  5. Step 5 Enter any necessary security codes. If you do not know these codes, try the defaults, (1234,) use the same code for PC and for mobile
  6. Step 6 Select the files on your computer that you want, and you should be able to right click and select "send via bluetooth". Click this option, and let the files

We need to enable bluetooth and then we need to make the bluetooth your laptop and the other bluetooth device discoverable.
Now you will have to pair these devices and after pairing the devices and establishing the connection between the two devices, you will able to transfer files from one bluetooth device to another bluetooth device provided both of them are in less than 5 meter range.
