Question about Tomtom One Europe v2 GPS Receiver
After using my tomtom for 10 hrs. a loud chimeing sounds go off on my van.

It's a settable option in preferences or sometimes you can set it when you first select a map. Its a reminder when moving from one country ( where you drive on the right ) to another country ( where you drive on the left ) to keep on the correct side of the road . It will bong if the road deviates a little from the map or more typical is if you deviate from the route . Such as if you left the route to go into a petrol station , it will bong as you rejoin the road to remind you to drive on the correct side of the road.

theres a good chance that it has been set up to warn you of speed cameras or other POIs (points of interest), if you go into the menu and go into "warn when near POIs" you can switch it off. good luck
