Here's some information about mylife from wikipedia:
"MyLife (or MyLife.com) is an American Internet company founded by
Jeffrey Tinsley in 2002. It provides a subscription based, personal search service. It previously conducted business under the names Reunion.com, Wink.com and Classmates.com. The company has been criticized for its aggressive marketing and billing practices and has been the focus of consumer complaints and a lawsuit." --- I would suggest that telling you there are security threats because your information can be found online might be considered aggressive marketing - However, there are very few people who use computers and the internet nowadays who don't have their information online somewhere - and lots of search engines can find it - I think they are offering to search the net for your details so you know where they can be found - and I guess you will have to pay them for this service - You can't really have an online social life or business these days without giving at least some information out - and there is usually a point at which you need to give real details - I wouldn't worry too much unless you've given out real confidential info to websites that don't really need it, i.e. You have all your real details listed on social networking sites and opt to allow everone to see these (name, address, phone number, workplace, school, date of birth, town of birth, maiden name, pets' names, etc. (things you're likely to use for passwords!)
