1 Open the refrigerator door. Measure the depth of the refrigerator
from the front edge of the refrigerator opening to the back wall. Make sure that you measure in feet and not in inches. Note the depth measurement on a piece of paper.
2 Measure the height and the width of your refrigerator's opening. Note the two additional measurements on your paper. Multiply the depth, height and width measurements to obtain the refrigerator's cubic foot measurement.
3 Take the same measurements from the interior of the freezer. Multiply those measurements together to get the cubic foot size of your freezer.
4 Add the cubic foot measurement of the refrigerator interior to the cubic foot measurement of the freezer interior. This gives you the total cubic foot measurement for the refrigerator.

To measure the macaroni, you are measuring mass or weight, so you would need a scale.

To measure the milk, you are measuring volume, so you would need a measuring glass or a set of measuring spoons.

To measure the butter, you are measuring distance, so you would need a ruler.

The company has been criticized for its aggressive marketing and billing practices and has been the focus of consumer complaints and a lawsuit." --- I would suggest that telling you there are security threats because your information can be found online might be considered aggressive marketing - However, there are very few people who use computers and the internet nowadays who don't have their information online somewhere - and lots of search engines can find it - I think they are offering to search the net for your details so you know where they can be found - and I guess you will have to pay them for this service - You can't really have an online social life or business these days without giving at least some information out - and there is usually a point at which you need to give real details - I wouldn't worry too much unless you've given out real confidential info to websites that don't really need it, i.e. You have all your real details listed on social networking sites and opt to allow everone to see these (name, address, phone number, workplace, school, date of birth, town of birth, maiden name, pets' names, etc. (things you're likely to use for passwords!)

I chatted with someone at Sears. They told me it is approx. 22 cu ft.

Removed and checked the power supply unit and confirmed the capacitors
C905 220uF 420V was measured at 200uF
C926 22uF 160V measured at 21.6 uF
C908 10 uF 100V measured at 10.35 uF
C910 47 uF 63V measured at 45.8 uF
Resoldered all of the joints on this PCB to ensure good connections.
On the Main PCB checked capacitors
C401 220uF 35V measured 214 uF
C417 100uF 160V measured 100 uF
C411 3300uF 35V measured 3090 uF
D204 was still a diode
C430 4.7nF 1600V measured 4.5 nF
C406 4700uF 25V measured 4460 uF
Reassembled and confirmed worked OK

These checks / repairs did fix this fault and the television is running well.

personally i check parts availability good tools have a good parts back up the poorer ones have no or poor backup(throw away)

You have acouple of options

You can buy a measuring tool that doesn't have a size limit or has a very high size limit, you can check around to find one that will suit your needs.

You can measure the till the end of you measuring tool, mark the spot where it ends, and make another measuerment from that spot.

Another option is to take a long piece of string, and run it between the two points you want to measure, Cut the rope exactly between the two points, and later you can measure it, section by section, this is a lot of work!

I'm sure that these aren't all the possible methods, I think that folks around here might add a few.
