XBOX 360 i just got a xbox 360 about 3 months ago and now when i put a game in it and wait for a few secs it says insert disk please help me fix this problem

Your Xbox is under warranty, I would call Microsoft and have them fix it. You don't want to open it up or do anything to void your warranty in case you get the red rings of death.

Brand new fable2 freezes on brand new xbox360 pro
Since your Xbox is brand new, you can just install Fable 2 to the hard disk of your xbox 360. I didn't have this problem with Fable 2 - but that's maybe because I installed it to the HD from the start. Fallout 3 did freeze on me, but installing it to the HD fixed the issue. Don't get any ideas though, you still need to insert the disk if you want to play ;-)

This is how you do it:

  1. Load the disk into your Xbox 360 console and go to your Xbox 360 console
  2. Scroll down to My Xbox
  3. Scroll across to Game Library and hit the A button
  4. This should put you on the Recent Games window and your game should be highlighted, so you should just need to hit the A button. Otherwise, scroll to the Recent Games window and choose the game.
  5. On the game screen, choose Install to Hard Drive. This process should take a few minutes, but once it is complete, you'll be able to enjoy improved performance.
You'll also note that the game screen contains all kinds of great information about the game such as the achievements unlocked and featured downloads available for the game.

Ok I had the same problem try this if this doesn't solve your problem call Microsoft.

First, Unplug everything including harddrive.

Next, Wait thirty seconds.

Then, Plug everything even harddrive.

Finally, Try it out see if it works. If it doesn't call Microsoft.

James at joystiq fixed his own 360 that was flashing three red lights, which indicates an internal error.
If you have this problem try to fix it yourself before sending the unit in.
1) Remove your hard drive and/or memory units.
2) Run “Initial Setup” under the system blade.
3) Decline inserting HDD or memory unit when prompted.
4) Sync your controller and pop in a game.
It might save your xbox 360 a repair return.
