When watching some shows, notably PBS, the station ID logo is slightly cut off at the bottom. Is there a way to adjust picture size or position throught the service mode? Anyone know the code for these adjustments?
Thanks
Do your basic trouble shooting first, disconnecting satelite or cable box, etc. to eliminate bad attached components or cables.
How old is the bulb for this model. They are only good for three years of so. $300.00 part.
If the main Wega engine is out, look out, expensive part. Have a qualified tech look at your unit. It will pay for itself as the picture looked even better than new after repairs.

A lot depends on what the TV station cuts off also. If they are transmitting a 5 X 4 picture, your TV will try an reproduce it giving cut off edges or top and bottom. It won,t fit properly. Hope that helps to explain it.
Not all bradcast are in 16:9 resolution (wide screen). Most are still in 4:3 (old TV).
Sometime the advertisements are in 16:9 letterbox to project correctly on 4:3 TV and TV logo or titles are on the bottom or top of the picture. If TV is set to project wide screen, these logos or writings will be cut off.
If you have an option to switch TV resolution from remount, you will see whole picture.
Check your TV manual for settings.
You can't fix this problem using "pix shape" on the TV itself. To fix this common problem, just change the format on your SAT. BOX using your sat. remote; It should have a format button it. Just keep pushing the format button till you get the whole picture to show on screen and you should be set ...
Ocean's Eleven. Best remake movie, I think.
I believe your TV is in "ZOOM" mode for the screen. This will make a 4x3 picture come up closer to fill in the 16x9 screen, but this cuts off the top and the bottom.
Keep pressing the WIDE button on your remote until the picture looks best.
If you have HD channels, the screen mode should be on NORMAL. HD channels will have the 16x9 screen format.
The non-HD channels will have 4x3 screen format. When the screen mode is on NORMAL, you will have the cut off picture on the sides because the 4x3 format will not fill in a 16x9 screen.
possibly external power supply faulty under load it may fail these power supplies ofen have capacitor failure open the power supply to check for leaking/bulging/swollen capacitor is around 2000uf rated at 12v
No adjustment needed on these LCD projection. Your problem is in your setup menu. Your default is now is set ZOOM. That is why the bottom of the picture is cutting off. Go to Menu, setup and screen size or something close to that.
