If the fuse burned out the the tv would not turn on at all. When the tv is on is the back light still on? If its not its probably the back light that needs changing. If its on then its one of the circuit boards.

most likely several capacitors are blown on a power vga board you could have a tech come out to see if he can replace them.

tot2523, your on off switch needs to be replaced. We have one, and we are now on our 2nd repair of the switch. First one blew and now the power switch won't go on. It seems it is a flaw with this t.v. Our t.v. is only 2 years old.....
