Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera

Problem I just recently purchased a Sony Cyber Shot camera, 7.0 pixels. We took a number of photographs and when we went to view them, the screeen simply said file error. We have now lost the photos. Many thanks

If this is the first batch of images then there would appear to be a fault with the Camera or the Card to check it out following the manual- Format the card. Take a test batch of images Try a read back or an upload to computer. This will establish if it is the card or the camera. returner either or both to the seller for replacement

I have a sony cyber-shot 6.0 mega pixel it will take pictures and after I hookit to the computer u can see them but the view screen on the camera will only show a white screen.Camera's view screen stay...

Skip using the camera for downloading and use a card reader instead. A lot of troubles will be eliminated.
A card reader is not expensive.
A card reader can be found in most electronic stores or on a site such as Ebay.

Try to right click on the image files while they are read on the memory card or on the camera hard-wired to your computer. Click on copy then click on your desktop of your computer to paste them. They may just be creating short-cuts rather than placing the file onto your computer.

Cannot Charge Camera!

you have to take out battery from camera and charge it in battery charger that included in camera box.then power it on connect camera with pc by using cable then insert cd in pc cd rom and install soft&drivers.

Camera frequently locks out and have to remove batteries to restart Since purchasing this S 1050 camera it frequently locks out for no apparent reason and then I have to remove the batteries to free the camera, I then have to press the on / off button to close it down then re start the camera by pressing the on button again. This is most frustrating .
