Let [A] be the square matrix (n*n)
The eigenvalues (call a generic one lambda) are such that
[A][X]=lambda[X] where [X] is some n-vector. Let [I] be the n*n identity matrix. Then lambda [X]= lambda [I][X] and the eigenvalues verify the matrix equation
[A-lambda I][X]=0
The eigenvalues are the roots of the polynomial equation obtained by setting det([A-lambda I])=0. Solving this n-degree polynomial equation will give you the eigenvalues.

Code 29A8 it's a NETWORK management fault, related with tne main computer. Will need to visit BMW dealer to delete or reset it.

a inverted y is the greek symbol for lambda.which means your car is telling you that you have a faulty lambda probe(if it stays on after you start the car)

oxygen sensors are most likely clogged up replacing them is usually the only fix

the lambda sensor is working and needs to be replaced it is a very easy job to do. all you need is a spaner .

That is a "Lambda" symbol.
Volvos "Check engine" lamp.

If this one lits, there is possible that there is some trouble with the oxugene sensor or enginge electronics.

If only lit before the engine starts: All OK.

my '96 had a similar triangular light,it was the lambda light which means something is not right. It could be major or minor , could be an O2 sensor. Only way to tell is to hook up to dignostic computer.Could be the gas cap not tightened properly.
