what you might want to do is to rip the songs from the cd as an mp3 songs/go to your windows media player tools setting and change the rip file to MP3 instead of WMA...
I just got an ilo mp3 player and when I try to sync songs from Windows
Media Player 11 to it, it only puts about 1/2 of the songs on it. It
says it has plenty of memory, so what's the problem?
You plug in your mp3 player and turn on Windows Media Player.
Then you go to now playing and you click on the button that says "Now Playing" and it has a drop down arrow. Then Go to Sync list and go to "Explore Device". Then click on music, right click on the song you want to delete and go to remove frome device.
It should work depending on what version of Windows Media Player you have

if there are no license issues with the songs you want to put on the player bypass media player and just drag and drop them in a file manager. it's all in the instructions.
