Question about Hitachi 53SWX12B 53" Rear Projection Television

Black out My Hitachi tv just started acting up about a week or 2. At frist I thought maybe it was my satalite dish, but now I'm not so sure. It blacks out almost the whole screen leaving about an 1 1/2 around the edges where you can still see the show but it stays on and won't go away. I have turned the tv off, and then back on again, but it eventually happens again. My husband tried to see what he could do, but we don't want to complicate things. I hope I have given you enough info! Thank you! Lilraidersteph

Get your remote for the Tv (ORIGINAL ONE)Go to Menu and Find Closed Captions CC And Scroll down till you find text mode and diable it or turn it off Good luck Let me Know ttech

Lost my Dish network remote for the upstairs tv (LG) - which has NO box. Is there anyway to program my TV remote, so I can access the TV staions - turn on the network basically???????
No,the Dish Network satalite box signals require it own remote for it INFER RED INPUT and INFER RED OUTPUT signals.Call Dish Network customer service ask for a another original Dish Network remote.U pay $5 or $6 dollars a month for the satalite box as rental.They should wave the fee or charge u very little for a another remote.

Not tracking satalite.
If you can hear the dish actually serching when it says "searching", there is a good possibility that you have a bad LNB on the dish. Unfortunately, this is not the only thing that can cause the problem. Your best bet is to call KVH @ 4018473327. Make sure you are on the boat when you call and they will run you through all of the programming checks to narrow down your issue. Good luck.

Hitachi P50H401 video goes off and on
this is from a tech tip I got that should help.
No Picture:
 1. The Power Supply may not be producing the correct voltages.
2. The Digital Module (Digi-Main) may not be producing correct
turn on commands (Power 1 and 2).
3. The Logic PWB may not be supplying the correct Vs/Va turn on
commands (Vsago and Vcego).

can my Hitachi 53 FDX 01BA be repaired? The picture takes longer every day to stay on When I turn on TV picture is sometimes distorted. After a few minutes it is OK.
