Well, firstly clarification on what you're asking would be helpful. What type of Processor do you have right now? Is it an Intel Core 2 Duo? Model number such as an E8400 would be helpful. Secondly what type of memory are you using? Is it DDR, DDR2, DDR3? How many sticks of RAM? And lastly, what type of computer case do you have? Is it ATX or Micro ATX?

Wont to upgrade graphic card my p.c has 2gig max ram in it wonts should i upgrade to to preform its best cheers mike

Depends on what kind of hardware you have
-Memory- 2 gb ram is "ok" if you use windows XP but if you have Vista or Windows 7 you should have a minimum of 4gb ram.
-Processor- if you have a Dual core processor you are ok, if you have a p4 or p3 you dont want to waste money on a new graphics card because it will not help you get better games, your processor and memory will slow you down instead.
So my advice is, if you have a OK computer, go ahead with buying a new graphics card if you computer is old and slow, DONT buy a new card! put your money on +2gb ram instead (cheap, and gives you more benefits) or maybe buy an "upgrade package" with new motherboard-memory-processor.

Hi!! my home pc specification , intel p4 865gvhz , 3ghz cpu speed, 512 mb ram. what are the possible upgradation i can do n my pc? how can i improve my graphics?

You can upgrade system memory up to 2Gb and additional can add a AGP graphics card. This is the only way but i'm not recommending this because you can by new generation cpu+motherboard+memory under 10k it will be the better choice than upgradation. Buu AMD CPU ... always better than Intel (comparing the price value)

Where can i buy a new Intel Pentium 4 3GHz 512/800 CPU processor - SL6WK ? mine broke, i need a new one

Try your local (not part of a "big-box" chain) computer-store. They may have a "pre-owned" one.

Or, look on eBay: http://shop.ebay.ca/?_nkw=SL6WK

where there currently are 40(!) auction-listings.

What mb to update from kk266plus for modern pc

you can buy DG31PR,GL / DG45PR these series mother board but you have to change your processor too with core2 duo 2ghz series, if you want to upgrade the RAM to 4GB means this is the only way have to change the following specifications (DG31 or DG 41 series board, core2duo procc,SATA seagate hard disk 500GB, 4GB RAM) this is the complete solution .

I want to upgrade my prossesor of my dell optiplex gx240 from 2.2ghz to 3ghz,and the memory from 512MB to 2GB,i hope it is ok

you would be better off replacing the whole motherboard, with one that can handle the 3ghz processor. the motherboard prices are quite low nowadays, spending a bit of extra dollars will save you a lot of time and head aches when you get into problems with compatibility issues. Its actually worth thinking about.....

Will the ''Sims 3'' work on this computer...?

It should be OK, your system shipped with P4 3ghz processor, so thet should suffice, what you may need is a high end video card and at least 1 or 2 gb memory. I dont reccomend using the onboard video.

Upgrading a dell gx260

when buying you need to ask for a low profile pci card for sound or video
What alot of manufacturers do is put in 2 plates which unscrews from the boards , which allows for either a regular tower installation or you use the short one for the desktops

here have a look at this site
http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&resnum=0&q=low+profile++pci+card+for+desktops&um=1&ie=UTF-8&checkout=1&sa=X&oi=product_result&resnum=1&ct=checkout-restrict
I hope that is helpful or a fix for your problem
