While using an unlock code supplied from phone company (virgin australia) when i tried to unlcok network got message 'service not available. Now all i get when i turn the phone on is USIM locked and i can make emergency calls only. Both lg and phone company say the other has to fix it and they can't do anything. help!!!
Call your service provider (virgin) and ask them for the unlock code
* there could be a fee if you have not put $80 worth of credit through the phone cause that is what had to do
You only need lg ku990 viewty unlock code to solve your problem, this unlock code will reset your phone network to all operator network. This lg unlock code can be purchased from online unlock code retailer.

i did call Lg and virgin but they couldn't help i went to repair shop and they fixed it for me just for $35

i have the same problem
We got the unlock codes from Virgin and while following their instructions it locked the USIM. We again contacted Virgin and they cannot unlock it seems to be a problem with the phone. LG say Virgin have to unlock it and Virgin say it is a LG phone problem. We have put $90 credit through the phone.
The phone is apparently unlockable!!

I have the same problem i just brought this phone brand new and when i called 789 to check my credit it said service unavailable. So at the weekendi had it unlocked by a mate for £10. it still didnt work. I ten got in touch with another freind she then said i have to get Virgin to unlock it instore, then she aid you could also try typing in 2945#*#. i have not tryed this yet but if anyone trys please email me and tell me if it works or not.
