9P5511 C102 I was cleaning the inside of the cabinet (mirror and tubes), just wiping them down with a clean dry cloth. I also wiped off the backside of the magnifier screen also. Everything is nice and clean, but now I have a light brown haze around the perimeter of the screen. More pronounced in the corners. Have I damaged the screen?

    I blew everything out and I still have the brown haze around the perimeter. The picture out towards the edges is blury as well, especially text images.

WHEN I MAKE COPY IT IS ALWAYS VERY LIGHT.

First you need to carefully clean the copier optics: Open document glass, use clean, dry and soft cloth to wipe the small mirrors on the scanner. Clean also the fluorescent lamp carefully not to break it. Wipe the document glass both inner and outer sides then securely screw it back. Remove the drum unit and wipe clean the underneath mirror on the laser unit then test the copy quality.

Wrong Cartridge Error

Check to see if the installed cartridge is the correct one for the printer. If the cartridge is the proper part number, remove the ink cartridge and make sure all the packaging tape has been removed from the copper circuitry strip on the backside of the cartridge. Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again.

If the error continues, remove the cartridge again and clean the copper circuitry strip on the backside of the cartridge, and the contacts inside the printer, by following the instructions below:

1. Use a clean, dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Locate the copper-colored circuitry strip on the back of the cartridge.

2. Wipe the copper-colored strip with the dry cloth. Use an upward motion, from the nozzle end to the top of the cartridge. Do not wipe the nozzle end of the cartridge or touch the nozzle plate. Wipe the contacts only once.

3. To clean the printer contacts, carefully look for fibers or contamination on the electrical contacts inside the carriage assembly, but do not wipe the printer contacts with any object. The contacts in the printer can be damaged if too much pressure is applied during a wiping process. Try to remove any visible attached debris within the carriage assembly by gently pulling the debris off with your fingers. If the carriage contacts show noticeable damage, contact the Customer Care Center listed in the printer's User's Guide.
Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again. If the error continues, the cartridge may need to be replaced.

My mfc-665cw printer quit printing yellow. i have switched cartridges, run the cleaning mode many times, no improvement. i hate to dump the excellent printer or pay big bucks to have it checked.

Dull picture

Yes you can take the back bottom of the tv off.You will see 3 bulbs 5or6" in diameter.take a very soft clean cloth spray cloth not bulbs.windex persoal cleaner for your glasses ect.wipe bulbs gently removing dust.Above thes lights are the mirror maybe 10"by12" clean that to spray cloth not mirror than wipe clean"Now get limber and try to reach the inside of the big screen and wipe completely.
