click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there
if you are have trouble with your webcam
click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers or update driver hope this helps

My computer has a web camera built into the top of it, but whenever i start my laptop up a message pops up that says camera not found or not occupied..and then i cant find or use my camera at all...help

Welcome to Fixya

Check the camera if you can see it under the device manager. Go to control panel ans click system. Go to device manager and look for your camera under imaging device. If camera is not present there. Try to press and hold the Fn key then tap Esc key. This will toggle the camera off/on. Your camera should be present in the device manager afte doing this.

Card reader not working?!

Have you tried another memory card?

Some devices can read SD but not SDHC. If your memory card is 1 or 2 gig, it's SD, if it's larger, it's SDHC which is not backwards compatible with SD.

Based on the age of the PSC 1350, I would bet it's a SD-only device.

MY webcam is mirror image !!!!

Launch the Webcam and find the properties or settings page (same place you set things like Low Light, Backlight Compensation, Flicker etc).

Within the webcam properties page is a tick box to show mirror image or not.

It could be the security level in your computer. What browser are you using? Try with Google Chrome, and whenever you want to download pictures, right click on the image and click "save image as".

When using the pen drive with the dvd player add the images/videos/songs directly into the pen drive without creating any folders in the pen drive and then try to connect.

I have a casio exilim ex-z1080 and whenever i take a photo there are vertical lines on the screen, it has only just happened and even when we download the photos they are showing up with vertical lines on...

Are the vertical lines on the images when you view them on screen, or only after you print them on a laser printer of some kind.
If the lines are on screen, your issue is in the device sensor.
If the lines are on printed images, try aligning your print heads (use your printer utilities whenever you replace an ink cartridge), or take the images to a kiosk (Kodak and others have those at verious retail outlets).
