I have a pioneer DEH-P4100 stereo system in my car, but can't seem to figure out how to set the clock. I saw a previous "solution" to the same problem for another person, but that solution didn't help. I referenced turning off the stereo and finding the time using the menu button, but my stereo doesn't HAVE a menu button. Help.
Okay, I had the same problem as well. After reading some solutions that didn't work I figured it out. On the right side of the radio there is a "F" function button on top and "A" audio button on bottom. First turn the radio off. Push the clock button until it is displayed. Then push and hold the "F" function button until the radio comes back on, then release the "F" button for a second and push it again then relase. Now, at this time the radio should only display the clock with the hour blinking. Use the up and down select key to change the time. Then push the right or left select button to change to the minute which will start blinking, then again push the up and down select button to adjust the minutes. When the time is correct just push the clock button and it is set.
I have been trying to figure out how to set the clock for so long. I usually can figure things out pretty quick but this stereo was just blowing my mind. I finally got it to work from the answer that was given but jeez who would ever think to do all that and why would anyone make it so difficult to set? Whats the point?

The following website will help you out.<br />
1. Power the unit off (See instruction manual page 11, "Power ON/OFF") - Crucial missing instruction.
2. Use MULTI-CONTROL to select CLOCK SET.
3. Press MULTI_CONTROL to display the setting mode.
4. Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the segment of the clock display you wish to set.
5. Turn MULTI-CONTROL to put a clock right
Its not the select button, you must have the power off and hold the function button down for about 5 seconds, display will change and you will be able to navigate your way to the clock from there. Hope this helps.
wellto set the clock you need to first hold the source button to turn it off to where the clock is just on. then press and hold the clock button until it beeps then use the arrows to set the clock..........
and to set the stations you need to tune in your fav station and then press and hold the number you want to place that station. you can also do best station memory if you are in an unfamiliar area or if you just want to fast tune all the local stations that come in the best it will randomly preset the stations by pressing and holding till it beeps on the program bottom. then the screen will run BSMuntil it finds and places the stations. hope this helps!
