Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P7 Digital Camera

No Power My camera just decided one day that it didn't want to turn on! I have never dropped it or anything, and when I try to charge it the charging light comes on. But still it won't turn on. I've tied reseting it, but this doesn't do anything! Anyone else had this problem?

Try to replace the batery or take out the battery.

The warranty should be at least one year.
Try a warranty repair or replacement.

Very odd that both cameras would stop working at the same time, has someone else abused them?

Removeing the batterys for a while is a good enought reset, check the battery connectors and contact your dealer if they both have warranty you will get them repaired or replaced for free. other than that I can recommend you a repair man if you provide me the city you live in.

Power switch not working

hello sir .. does your batteries are charged already??
if your batteries are fully charged and your camera didn`t turn on,
there`s a possibility that your camera has a problem. You can visit the store where you bought your camera and you can ask questions there why does your camera didn`t turn on whenever your batteries are ok .. :)

My nikon coolpix s220 just stopped powering on. i charged the battery, but that didn't help. any suggestions?

If the camera was dropped and it does not turn on with a known GOOD battery the camera must have been damaged. When you dropped it the FIRST time and it worked you were lucky. Cameras do NOT like to be dropped.

Probably a broken solder connection on the power socket.

Wow, this is trully amazing. I went to do a search on why my camera wouldnt turn on the past couple of days, even after i charged all THREE of my batteries and found similar complaints within the same time frame!! WOW. We need to get together and fight this, cause its suspect!!! I bought mine in Mass, anyone else?

Camera wont turn on

Dropped camera now it will not power up or anything battery is charged

You probably blew a fuse. Maybe the lens jammed and the motor could not overcome the jam so it shut itself down to protect itself. I dropped my first camera, under AMEX warranty and it came back with 3 fuses repaired, no physical damage-just wouldnt turn on.

My Casio Exilim got wet and now the flash doesn?t work all the time

Sorry, an underwater case would have been real helpful in this situation. :) The only thing you can do is send it into repairs.
