I Have seen USB cords around that have various adaptors for the different USB connectors. I found them at supermarkets! However, This is only really needed if you are recording to INTERNAL MEMORY!. I have a policy of NOT recording ANY THING to internal memory on ANY device that takes a memory card (camera,phone,mp3) as transfering data using a CARD READER is usually faster. P.S. I lost the cable for my Mustek DV5300se a long time ago but I found a Canon cable that DOES work. Try a camera store! Good luck!
i am holding in my hand my 5300se as i type this [i hunt and peck] i had same problem u speak of i ended up having to go to their suport page over seas i beleve it was asia i found it under it was called W.E.B. [same name as the one here in usa but the file is longer on the over seas program if u cant find it let me know and i will try to find my copy
Hi,
It's almost impossible to find Mustek manuals online (even from Mustek's webpage). They are giving these manuals in original box as a CD . But I can suggest you to use this link http://www.mustek.com.tw/apprg/listquickguide?LID=2&TYPE=2&PRODUCTID=CDVDV9300 mostly use of camcorder is similiar. Hope this help...
This little guy usually comes with a USB cable. You should get one if posible.
I would instead... get a card reader and remove the memory card to plug directly into your computer. mainly because these guys use a lot of battery power to just stay on.
When you put the card reader on your computer or plug the camera into your machine.. you should be able to see the device in your "my computer" if you're using windows XP or Vista.
You don't need special software.. but i beleive Picasa works well for this http://picasa.google.com/
