My LG Env stopped vibrating on inbound texts

Try this.
Disable vibration.
Turn phone off.
Remove battery.
Wait at least 30 minutes.
Put battery back on the phone and turn vibration on.

Sorry but I don't think you can change the length of it.

You probably have silent mode on. Try pressing and holding the pound or the star key. One of those will probably release silent mode, so that whatever ring setting you have can be used.

You don't have to have the spindle... just go to "touch settings" and turn the vibrate on. I had the same problem.

Yeah, I had that problem too. I thought my phone was broken. -_- My old phone from Verizon is like 4 years old and I JUST got my enV3. On my old phone, I'd have to set the alarm's ringtone to "no ring." But, on my enV3, "no ring" literally means NO ring, no vibration, no notification, no nothing. On the enV3, in order to set your alarm clock to vibration mode, all you have to do is make sure you "master volume" is in vibration mode, but you have to set your alarm's ringtone to something other than "no ring."

Pls check your battery power if it has gone out. If the battery has gone out then phone might not be able to draw enough power from it when vibration mode is on.

The ******** motor has probably become un-mounted.
In order to repair - it must be disassembled and re-glued to the mounting bracket.
Take it in to your local dealer to have it repaired correctly.

Navigate to Settings > Sounds > Volume > Messages > Text Message. Vibrate on needs to be checked. Lower the ringer volume by clicking the left arrow.

Go into the main menu
Sound settings or Alert Settings
There will be an option for alerts (text messages) you can then change it.
