SOURCE: trouble downloading music videos

There should be some software that came with the player that converts video files to a compatable format for the player.

The software is the ArcSoft Media Converter2 and the parameters should be 320x240, 512 video, 128 audio.

Another program you can try is Media Converter 2.5 intro (trial) version on the Arcsoft website. This seems to also do a terrific job at conversion.

Best of luck to you!

NO DATA appears on the sreen

Hi,

Reformatting your player will delete all existing data files which you have personally installed on the unit.

Reformatting does not however, delete any drivers or firmware.

If you enter the menu and look for your System Files folder, you should be able to determine if your firmware is still present.

If you're concerned, just go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest firmware for your player, save the firmware file onto your pc, connect your player to your pc and transfer the firmware file directly to your player.

Follow the installation as per the instructions.

Hope this helps.....

My Dell Dimension 2400 has stopped working - how do i restore the factory settings ?

Hello,

It appears your model Dell 2400 should have been supplied with the CD's for reinstalling Windows XP, CD will be green or blue in color and the drivers and applications that came with the computer.

If so, back up your files first to an external drive and then put the CD in the CD drive and reboot the computer. It should come up to reinstall XP.

If good to go, you will be prompted to install the second Cd as well as online XP updates.
Software that was installed after you bought the computer also wouyld have to be reinstall as well as restoring your backed up file.

Rememberm all data is lost when you reinstall your operating system, unless these is a choice on install that may ask for destructive, or non-destrutive (keeps files).

I am attaching a link to Dell for your to copy and paste into your web browser for the support page for drivers and user guide in the event you need to reveiw the process.

I try to burn a playlist to a cd using Windows Media Player. Message says "no disc in drive" even when there is a disc in drive.

If your computer cannot burn CD's (try to burn any file to it) then it's probably gone bad and will have to be replaced.
If Media Player is the only app that will not burn the files, perhaps you need to download the latest version of Media Player. Or, perhaps, uninstall it and reinstall it.

My acer aspire one D255 netbook is running slow and takes too long to down load. Do i need to reformat it? I bought it from a friend so I don't have a windows 7 disc or anything to replace anything. Is...

Hi

Reinstalling the operating system will surely make your computer faster. Since you do not have Windows 7 disk and you do not have hardware driver for your laptop. I suggest you send it to reformat to a technichian for a small fee and he will download the correct hardware driver for your netbook and then reinstall the fresh operating system. will sure will run your computer faster. Reformat laptop

To reformat Hard Disc Drive you can use software from the hard disc manufacturer. For example Maxtor, Seagate, Toshiba, Hitachi or Western Digital. Usually your HDD will be made by one of those. It's downloadable free and can be burnt to a CD. Alternatively use a Windows installation CD. If you want to reformat all data will be lost so you'll need to reinstall Windows (or another Operating System) anyway.

Remember that you'll have to get the drivers for that particular model of laptop and install those too, that could be difficult to do unless you have the driver CD that came with the laptop.

Wont play commercial dvds

should i assume that the drive work previouly with com dvd? my annlysis of this problem is that the dvdrom is not able to read the format the dvd is in. the format of the hard drive does not determine the ability to read or not read a dvd. that is the job of the optical disc.so dont worry about the format that is in.ok. the other aspect of the ability to read dvd is the software. windows media player and other that are of age has a inability to play some new format dvd. best bet install the newest version of power dvd put the disc and check should start automat pending setting you may need to go to my computer and double clickon the romdrive. let me know.
