Blurrry print like a shadow

I have a Canon printer. Whenever pictures or text gets a double or blurry image I open the printer solutions menu. It sounds as though there is a problem with inkjet alignment. By clicking the realignment button the printer will automatically realign the jets. I usually test the alignment by printing a page from that program. All the line segments should line up.

You may have to do another alignment of the printer.
Do a Clean the Print Cartridge cycle first.
This will allow the printer to print a good alignment page.

use the printer tools like head cleaning tools etc.

If your using new catridge please goto Printer service option and clean the head once. Then youwill get clean print.

Registration problem, the color are not on top of each other looking blurrry. Service mode has a Regristration test that is run and can check registration

If all 3 colors are mis-aligned, you may have solder connections that blew a fuse. There are three fuses next to the flyback transformer, one usually blows causing this issue. Resolder the flyback solder connections and replace the fuse to fix.

Sounds like the convergence ic's need to be replaced or resoldered. Sometimes it can be a microfuse if you are lucky. But my question is if you hit the focus button up front does it make it thru the auto convergence? Let me know. Have a good one.

attempted ....part # STK392-560....You need two......mount
to large heatsink...............T.
