I have an EX S600 Casio digital camera. This camera was purchased in Germany and worked fine. On returning to New Zealand the charger is flashing and will not charge the battery in the camera. I appear to have the correct connections??
We had this problem. When we plugged it in to the charger, the red light was solid for a few seconds then started flashing. Every time it started flashing we unplugged it then plugged it back in. After about 10 attempts it stopped flashing and stayed permanently charging.........then it worked again :-)
Okay, the same thing happened to me. I ordered a new battery and that was not the problem since the same blinking light was haunting me! So I bought a wall charger for the battery alone and then it worked again on the original docking station. Apparently it will not recognize a completely dead battery on the docking station. It makes no sense but it worked for me. So good luck to you!

If the charge light doesn't come on at all that is normally a charger error and we would have you send the charger in to be checked. Call repairs at 800-706-2534 option 2 and they can tell you
where to send it.
The NP20 battery that your camera requires is not taking a charge because of a "charge error". Please contact tech support and give them your address and they will replace the battery free of cost for you.
I do not know the solution to your problem but I can tell you that when the camera is working properly that amber light means the flash is chargeing or your camera is doing something like saveing a picture so if your battery is low your flash might not charge properly or your camera might have something wrong with is memory. Sorry i couldn't be a better help.Good luck!
