My laptop has a mind of it's own!

Help, my laptop's acting up! Whenever I have multiple windows open, even when they're minimized they keep popping back up! So I'm browsing the web when suddenly, my minimized word document pops up in front of me! It keeps happening! T_T Even if I only have one window open, like Firefox, it keeps "deselecting" the window like, while I'm typing... It's a real pain in the ***, please help!

My specs: Dell Latitude D600; Windows XP SP3; Intel Pentium M 1.8GHz; 1GB RAM

Thanks in advance!

-Kenji

If you are typing when that happens check to see if your Windows key (the key with a flag icon) is stuck. That would trigger a hotkey for minimiing/maximizing your windows. Steve

My acer aspire 3105WLMi windows Vista Basic keyboard keeps missing random letters as i type..even now! my laptop is 6 months old and constantly runs via the plug into the wall which then runs to the...

First Things first. Un-install the software that you installed immediately as while you are Internet Banking a pop-up is a security threat and It is not a security pop up mind it.

Regarding the keyboard missing the letters. Please follow the following :

In control Panel go to Keyboard settings and move the repeat delay & repeat rate to a slower setting.

2nd Option

open a Word processor and type in ABC to Z & All the combinations of the same & special characters using shift. Repeat this 2-3 times. If same letters are missing it means that the keyboard has a problem and needs disassembly & cleaning.

When I try to download something from a website, all of my windows close before I can accept the download

- If you were force to upgrade your windows to vista, I thinks some of the drive are realy compatible on your system.
- You may want to run windows update service pack 1 , It might help you resolved some of the issue.
-Give me more some details of your issue (error-pop-ups, bluescreen)

Multiple IE,internet explorer windows are popping up when ever i try to open a webpage

If you're open to other IE substitutes, you can try Mozilla Firefox. You can download it from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/. Firefox is very good in blocking pop-ups.

If IE is still your choice, you can upgrade it to IE 7, which can be found at:
