Netgear WG111 USB Adapter won't connect with service pack3 installed
IT works fine with service pack 2 installed, but will not conect when servive pack 3 is installed.

Thanks in adavance!
Hi Democritus, I uninstalled netgear, down loaded the driver above, unzipped etc. then was asked to install the netgear cd, ( which i still had but is years old and probably out dated )
Then used the internet option to update rather than use the files on the cd. ( Here I used an ethernet cable for my internet connection )
Installation was successful and I got immediate wireless connection once ethernet cable removed and the netgear usb was inserted. Thank you for steering me in the right direction and getting me wireless again. Initially I have contacted Negear Support, exactly followed the steps they suggested but no solution. Then I tried to install the drivers as mentioned here, but still no connection.
Now I also get the following error message: exception processing message c0000012 Parameters 75b0bf7c 4 75b0bf7c 75b0bf7c

I imagine you bought the WG111 Kit. It could but throught the Router and/or the adapter. Uninstall all netgear software and drivers. Unplug the adapter. Reboot machine. Plug the adapter in and install the software drives. Basically your starting over. This will take the quess work out of trying to repair what was lost. After reinstalling go to this web page to configure the SSID,IP and adapter. http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/N101179.asp
-- check the device manager of your computer
-- for win xp - go to right click on my computer - manage - computer management - device manager - on the right hand side that the netgear adapter is listed under network adapters or other devices
The error you get from Windows about the digital signature is normal. This only means that windows hasn't tested and approved it. just as the Netgear guys will tell you, the wireless adapter is compatible and will work fine. When you get that message, you'll usually allow it or continue with the installation.
First uninstall the netgear adapter from the memory of the computer completely...
Because in case of this netgear adapter WG111 ... when u install it , it makes changes in the system files ...
That;s why when u connect the printer it doesnot recognise that ...
that's why uninstall the netgear adapter software in the Add remove programs and then restart your computer..
