Owner manual Bought used at a pawn show. No manual. How can I find one?

I bought it at a pawn shop. How dumb can, I be? It ask for a PIN#. And say's Lost satellite reception. What do I do?
Take the GPS back to the pawn shop. They should be able to get the pin number for you from the previous owner.

If they cannot or if they refuse, demand a refund from them. The unit is useless without the pin and it may even be stolen goods (illegal). If the dealer does not cooperate, report them to the local police for investigation.

The 8025 is a very cheap camera....I hope you didn't pay more than $15 at the pawn shop. Your camera has a blown flash tube. The camera could have been dropped in water by the previous owner. You could have bought one at Walmart that would have at least worked a little longer.

HELLO I JUST BOUGHT A GARMIN NUVI 350 FROM A PAWN SHOP AND IT'S LOCK HOW DO I UNLOCK THE UNIT PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS
Garmin Lock works by using either a 4 digit pin code or by taking the unit back to a preset security location. Although Garmin warn that this should NOT be the user's home address, that's what it normally is. If you know where the last owner lived then you can try going to that location to see if it unlocks, but if you knew that piece of information you could just ask the last owner...

It came from a pawn shop though, so it's very unlikely that you know who the last owner was or where he/she lived.

There is no other way to unlock your unit without sending the unit back to Garmin. There's a charge for the service and you'll be asked to provide evidence that you own the unit; in practice it's going to be cheaper to buy a similar brand new Garmin model. All I can suggest is that you try to get a refund from the pawn shop (unlikely!) or sell it to another unsuspecting person.

Sorry, but Garmin Lock is deliberately difficult to overcome otherwise it wouldn't be much use as an anti-theft deterrent.

most gateway computers have a boot that shows up on the right top side of the screen when you turn it on.There should be one that says system restore example (F12=system restore/recovery) one of those push F12 ect. whatever button it shows beside it and that will recover it to factory setting which wipes out everything that the old owner downloaded it also removes that password protection.
