No power I set the time this morning, pressed start, heard the normal "thud" when the thing stats but directly after the thud all power was lost. Tried different outlet to be sure I didn't just flip a breaker, with no luck. Really like this model, otherwise I'd already be at Target.

Your fuse is definately blown. possibly moisture. if you replace exact fuse and it blows again, powerside is defective.little bit tricky then as you have diodes, capacitor and magnatron also transformer to check. these need testing equipt.if you decide to press on, caution, capacitor is fully charged and dangerous.

I cannot get the GE microwave clock to set! Help?

To set the clock on most GE microwaves:
1 With the microwave door closed, press CLOCK.
2 Touch number pads that reflect the time of day (1:45 would be 1, 4, 5).
3 On some newer models, indicate AM or PM for morning or evening.
4 Press CLOCK or START to lock in the time.
If you prefer not to display the time:
Disconnect the power for 30 seconds. After restoring power, do not set the clock. If your model has an ON/OFF clock display, you can choose not to have the time displayed. To choose this option, press the 0 pad for about three seconds. To Turn the display back on, press the 0 again.

My LG LRMP1270ST microwave oven stopped working in the morning. It just flat died when I put 2:00 minutes on the timer and pressed start I heard the pop/breaking sound. So immediately I stopped the...

The main fuse has blown in the microwave, you also have secondary problem that sounds like the magnetron has failed, but there are two other parts to consider, the high voltage capacitor and diode work in conjunction with the magnetron to heat the food. The repairs could run as high as a new microwave oven.

I SET THE TIME I WANTED THE MICROWAVE TO RUN AND WHEN I PRESSED THE START BUTTON I LOST ALL POWER I CHECKED THE POWER SOURCE TO THE OVEN AND HAD POWER HOWEVER NOTING ON THE SCREEN OF THE MICROWAVE. WHAT...

Hi Bill. it is possible that you may have just blown a fuse. Check the fuse and replace if it blows again check all the diodes in the power supply. If one reads in foward and reverse bias please replace dides should only read in one direction. If these diodes are not shorted check all the diode in the microwave especially the large one connected to the large capacitor. Make sure you discaharge the capacitor before troubleshooting this section because it can shock you even when the microwave is unplugged. If any diodes are shorted replace them this will fix your problem.

I have a Hamilton Beach 0.9 Cubic Feet 900-Watts Digital Microwave Oven and I can not find out how to change the power setting for cooking.

Assuming its the same as my Hamilton Beach, you first enter the cooking time, but don't press start yet, instead press power, then a number button 1 - 9 for the power level 1 for 10%, 2 for 20% etc. THEN press start as normal

How do I get my Panasonic Inverter microwave out of demo mode? I think my toddler might have hit something to put it in demo!

Hello Two options to try: a) Press the Clock / Timer button 3 times b) Unplug, wait a few seconds, then re-plug to power up with the factory settings. You will need to reset your clock and any favourite settings.
This should work with all Panasonic Microwave models.
Good luck

Good morning: ) may I ask you a question about my

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

If some keys are still not working, then you likely have a bad keypad.

I would need your brand and full model number to give you a free estimate.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help or see our Web site.

Don't understand how to set the power levels

Is your full model number MW8675? If not, please post your full model and let me try again.

Normally you press Time (or Time Cook) then the digits of the time, then Power, then a number from 1 to 9 (which stands for 10% to 90% power level), then Start.

On some models you just press the digits of the time, then Power, then a number from 1 to 9 then Start.
