Question about Sony Handycam DCR-HC42E Mini DV Digital Camcorder
The flip out screen dose not show up anything but if you touch it you still can use the buttons on it
I had purchased SONY DCR HC 42 in july 2005. now i am facing a problem with the LCD display. whenever i open LCD screen nothing comes on it. view finder is working fine. kindly help me out Pritu

The flexible cable needs to be replaced, as correctly pointed out by x-tian. If your handy cam is under warranty, Sony will change the cable for free.

Flex wire is already cut on lcd connection and only left is the control button...go the the sony service for replacing the flex wire..
