Question about Sony Handycam DCR-VX1000 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I have owned my DCR vx1000 handycam for a while now and noticed that there has been red lines appearing in all my footage after 40 minutes to an hour after shooting and it puzzles me, i would like to sent out a message to all whom may have an interest in lending a helpin hand to possibly figuring out what could be the problem ? basically i can only shoot for about an hour and then the camera starts to overheat and the overall footage is destroyed by something malfuntioning inside the motor mechinisms inside the module itself so again help me im in need ... thank you cheers.....

I too have this problem . . . I would shoot for a little bit and then the video in the viewfinder has changed. The grass is no longer green but magenta. Certain colors that are not green (ie blue or yellow or whatever) are now green. It seems to do it randomly. I guess it could be heat (outdoor temperature) but not sure.
