WHEN I TURN THE TV ON, IT SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO GO ON BUT THEN TURNS OFF. THE LED LIGHT, ON THE POWER BUTTON,COMES ON AND THEN TURNS OFF 3 TIMES IN A ROW,BEFORE SHUTTING OFF COMPLETELY. THE FUSE NEXT TO WHERE THE PLUG REACHES THE SET IS GOOD,SO IM NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO DO. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. THANKS.
I am experiencing the exact same problem as you described. I had a tech, come and look at it and am told that its a motherboard problem. Here's the kick in the teeth, there are no MBoards available and I may have to wait 1-3months for one. What sucks is that when I first bought my TV the exact same problem occured within a 3 days of purchase...long story short I was given another New in the box tv to replace the tv that rca could not fix. If you have a personal warrenty, use it to finest detail, some contracts have a lemon clause and may cover you if you should get to a point of "TV HELL" Your not alone here and I just wanted to let you know what I've experinced to date. RCA is now Thomas Electric something or another Call their customer relations department and let them know your situation, how you've read that others have experience your same problems ect. 1-866-465-7157. best of luck

Hello,
My LOEWE CAL 232 will not power up. When the power button is pressed, the monitor turns on, with the LOEWE on the monitor, then the TV continues with the previous activity (antenna, DVD, VCR etc.). Now all that happens is
1. the red light comes on
2.after about 1 second the green light turns on for about 12 seconds
3. the the green light turns off for about 1 second
4. then the green light turns on again for about 12 seconds
and this continues until the power button is pressed to turn the TV off. During this time, the monitor does not turn on and the only sound I hear seems to eminate from the power button.
Any thoughts?
