Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I have a hp officejet all-in-one 6213 series printer . It was bought in South Africa about 2 yrs ago , now I am living in London ,England I have moved regions and the cartridges which were used in SA were hp 131 and hp 135 . I have found compatible hp 344 & 338 cartridges here in the uk ; but when I inserted them into my all- in- one system TH READING FROM THE SYSTEM STATES THAT there is a CARTRIDGE ERROR FOR USE IN THAT PRINTER. My question is how do I make my system accept these cartridges ? Lenna15

I tried everything and then got the idea of using a compressed air bottle to clean the contacts with the cartridges removed. Worked like a charm!

Also, i would stick with HP ink cartridges. i used generic staples refills and it just didn't work in the printer consistently.

Open the cartridge bay and pull them out. Wipe off dust and push them back in. Make sure they are full also. If the problem persist you might want to reinstall the printer.

Same, with 1315 - continuous flashing check print cartridge error light; it began one day unannounced when I switched on tho had been fine the day before. I have tried all the suggestions, replaced cartridges, cleaned contacts, reinstalled driver, tried new cartridge, turned off and on etc but still the light flashes and I can neither scan nor copy nor print. Please help. Jvang

i had error check print cartridge replaced them cleaned them,removed black and it did a test copy fine then error again.
