Is there a compatible ink cartridge for Versajette M400 printer?

Hello,

To install your printer, connect the printer to the computer or laptop usint the cable that links it up.

The computer would see it as a new hardware, you can install it from the bar that shows up from the tab side, or you can also go to the computers control panel, select add new hardware, then a list of new hardware found will appear, then you select the versajette m400 printer, and install the drivers.

After doing this, you can now start printing with your printer.

Yes the cartridges are correct. Black is 34MS/Mx and Color is 35 or 35S, full details below..

Does Versajette list the Lexmark cartridge as supported on their printer?

If it is not listed, then you need to contact Versajette and find out why.

Surf to your computer company, looking for new updates that include Win7 update, that is if they have updated for Win7. You could email them and ask!

I found this at the manufacturers site:

1. Go to Computer and select the drive that the printer driver disk is in.
2. Right click on that drive and select explore.
3. Choose the M400 driver folder, and right click on the setup option.
4. From the right click menu options select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
5. Proceed with the installation.

If this doesn't work, I also found a PDF that gives a few more tips.

an ink cartridge is an ink cartridge. If it is the right size for your printer, install them.

Not,. Also you need the original versaink.I think because it is specilly designed for checks.

I am having the same challenge with the smudging. I get the wet the print cartridges but that doesn't work. I have to run some documents through which wastes the ink. I am totally disappointed with this printer. I tried Canon when they had that one as a special deal. I ran through 3 or 4 heads and Canon said not to use the MICR ink. Makes no sense to me. G7 won't respond to me anymore. I now have a Vista and it looks like that will be a challenge and I have an ink cartridge sitting in my closet for this dang thing. How disappointing is this.
