1997 Buick park ave why is my coolant brown

It should be orange if it Dexcool. Which all aluminum head GM engines switched too. If typical (green) antifreeze is added to dexcool, it goes thru a reaction that will not let it flow thru the cooling system fast enough or properly which causes hot spots in the block and burns (cooks) the antifreeze. have the system flushed and refilled with the correct coolant and you engine will love ya for it

Where is the fuel filter located on a 97 Buick park ave

The fuel filter is located under the hood on the passenger's side of the car. It is mounted to the frame rail near the lower engine area.

97 98 buick park ave oil light blinks and stays on

The oil light is either a bad sensor or it's telling the truth that oil pressure is low. You can install a new sensor or hook up a mechanical gauge to find actual pressure. Cutting off can be caused by way too many things to list

97 Buick Park Ave. Non-Ultra. Mileage 200K. Was squeaking at morning cold start for about 5 to 10 min. Replaced Serpentine Belt, belt tensioner, alternator, and PCV Valve. STILL squeaking at cold start....

How's your engine coolant level? If you've got a water pump leaking coolant, your belt will squeak, as the pump will leak the coolant directly onto the belt. You'll see the spray pattern under the hood if it's been going on for a while.

96 park ave temp only gets 160 replaced stats twice

If the temp gauge is reading 160 when the engine is warmed up, the problem could be air in the cooling system, a faulty sending unit, or gauge.

Oil mixing with coolant.Car is overheating, coolant is tan.Had radiator tested. It's not trans fluid.Oil level fine and no coolant in oil.Oil on top of heads look fine.Buick park ave 150,000 miles 1998...

If this is a 3800, Upper Intake Plenum or Lower intake gaskets are an inevitability. Head gaskets on these engines rarely go out! Seriously, don't get duped. I am doing the job on my grand prix right now. Google it for further explanation.
