How to fix an mp3 player "female jack " (samsung yp-k5)

Hello since I can't hear the left ear signal if I even just slightly push the inserted jack downwards (the screen being up and teh back being down). I have opened the thing up (not very easy with all those flip/glide mechanisms n stuff) but I cant seem to be able to push inwards any of the connectors from the outside. so I closed it back up... (it took me awhole 20 minutes) any way I can go in with a needle and bend some metal connectors back into place? or maybe I should clean it somehow?  remember I have perfect sound if I don't touch the player/jack or if I pull upwards on the jack.  thanks in advance

no it's not the earphones. and there is no warranty... in any case I would have voided it by taking out every screw the thing has XD... I plan on getting a new one but I still want to try messing with the jack if it could in any way fix the problem. I don't care about making it worse... in any case I can use the speakers by themselves XD

If you are talking about when you use the headphones, then try getting new headphones. This happened to me too, and once I replaced those it worked just fine. You shouldn't stick anything in there, because you could further damage it, and if you have a warrenty, then it wont be covered. Try the new headphones, if thats not it, then take it in to have it repaired, or get a new one. Good luck.

When i plug in the audio wire to listen to it on headphones or my speakers only one speaker will work. i have to wrap the cord around the player in order for it to be heard from both speakers.

Your plug-in is not functioning properly. It appears it has become loose over prolonged use and is dirty. I suggest clean the plug-in by blowing air OR with a soft cotton wad slightly moistened with mild detergent ( Best is ear cleaning buds). Also check the wiring connection in the audio jack as that also can be loose OR fix a new Audio Jack

Yp k5 sound

in your case, if the one of the headphones of your device is not working, and you have already tried different earphones and verified that there is no problem with the earphones. Sorry to say this but your unit needs service. Call samsung and let them set a repair request for you. :(
