have you checked if cricket 2002 is compatible with windows 7?because of PC Games are not compatible with windows 7.
here try doing this if it will change anything. ( Hope it will work )
On your Desktop, Right click the shortcut of cricket 2002
On the menu choose properties.
On your properties Go to Compatibility Tab.
Now on Compatibility Tab, Go to Compatibility Mode and change the "Run this program in compatibility mode for: " Change it to Windows XP.
Click Apply and then Click OK.
Thats it. Now try running the game.
Im not sure if this will work but atleast you must try. If the game doesnt really work. Its the compatibility of the game that has the problem. Cricket 2002 is not compatible with windows 7.

1. Right click on the cricket 2002 icon in the start button 2. Click on properties 3. Go to compatibility 4. Change the compatibility to Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 2000. It worked for me....
