You could also go to My Computer. then click on your Samsung YPK5. click Internal Storage. click Music. then highlight all the music you want, right click, and Create a Playlist :D works like a charm for meeeee :)

When you turn on the player, select the music menu, and then scroll down until the playlists logo appears - select that and then your playlist name should be there.
If it still isn't there, then the songs that you tried to sync have some sort of licensing restriction on them that does not allow them to be synced to a portable device - wmp will show them as synced, but alas - they will never actually show up on the player.
If you are asking how to add songs to you iPod (assuming you want to use iTunes)
Sync your iPod with iTunes
Connect your iPod to your computer.
When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (below Devices), select it.
If the Summary pane isn't showing, click the Summary tab.
To automatically sync your iPod:
Make sure that "Manually manage music" is not selected.
Click the Music tab and do one of the following:
automatically update your iPod with all the songs and playlists in your
library, select "Sync music" and then select "All songs and playlists."
iTunes loads the songs and playlists in your iTunes library onto your
iPod, and deletes songs from your iPod that aren't in your library.
automatically update your iPod with only certain playlists, select
"Sync music" and "Selected playlists," and then select the playlists
you want synchronized.
To manually sync your iPod:
Make sure that "Manually manage music" is selected.
Click Music (below Library, on the left side of the iTunes window) and then drag songs and playlists to your iPod.
Sorry if I'm too obvious, but are you using iTunes?
Yes? Then check your iPod settings on iTunes: If you want to just drag songs to the iPod you have to set it to "manually manage music" on the iPod "Summary" screen.
Otherwise you need to create playlists in iTunes and synchronise your iPod to those playlists (tick them in the "Music" tab.
Of course, if you already knew all this, sorry! Maybe you have a usb port problem (try restarting computer) or an iPod problem (try resetting your iPod). NOTE: with iPods, you MUST use iTunes to transfer music to iPod, and it is NOT possible to transfer music FROM you ipod TO your computer (say you've loaded songs from someone elses computer to your iPod and you want to put them onto your computer - no can do! Use a flash drive).
do not ADD mp3 tracks into the playlist folder. this is not how it works. connect the player to the pc, then transfer mp3s into the MUSIC folder. Get into the foled, right click on song you want to be on playlist, and option PLAYLIST comes up. press on it and a new window will open, with playlist options. you can drag and drop mp3s in there, and so you'll have your playlist.
Within WMP 10 create a few playlists and drag/drop music files to the appropriate playlist (drag whole albums or individual songs). When you have constructed and filled your playlist(s) connect your player, open the sync tab, and drag the playlist(s) to the sync box. Click sync and smile. ;)
Hi, I too wanted playlist and found it out for v 1.25 K. I am not 100% sure about playlists for version 1.30E sorry, but you can try. This is how I make playlists. Plug your iriver into your computer. Make a folder on your iriver, call it whatever you want. I called mine playlists. Create a textfile in the folder, call it whatever you want and give it the extension the same as winamp gives. I think it is .m3u? Maybe .m3p? Anyway, find that out. Open the file in notepad and put the path to the song. eg: \music\rock\linkin park\numb.mp3 Add as many as you want one under the other. And make as many playlists as you want. Then unplug your iriver and let it rebuild. In music mode, you have to not be playing a song, so stop any music, then just press the A-B button and a list of the playlists should appear. Select one and away you go. If the press A-B does not work, try holding it. I can't remember as i havn't used mine for a bit. Sorry I can't be most specific about your version. Or the extension of the file, I wrote a program myself to do the work for me. Check to see if it works for you, if you want a copy of the program I can send it to you. it is in .Net 2 so you will need the the framework installed.
The Sansa m200 series can only create playlists in MTP mode. on the menu go to settings>USB. There are two options MSC and autodetect. Once in autodetect your sansa should say MTP when connected to your PC. In this mode you should be able to add playlists without any trouble.
Hope it helps
