The frequency is on a sticker inside the battery compartment.

SOURCE: new cable for my Shure Beta 58A Professional

I scored an old beta 58 but the 3 pin connector was missing. i bought another one but i don't know which wires to connect where. plus there are only two wires, is that right? I'm a bit of a noob but I like to try things myself :)

The Beta 58A head simply unscrews from the handle (just below the grill). It will fit all Shure handheld transmitters.

Where is the mute button on shire beta 58a

I assume you are asking about a wired Beta 58A. The Beta 58A is not offered with a switch. Audio Engineers do not like switches on microphones as the talent could accidentally switch off the microphone.

To open a wired Shure Beta 58, unscrew the handle at the mid point. A new cartridge from Shure includes the upper part of the handle.
