My 42" APEX rear Projection tv has some scratches on it and I would like to at least hide them if possible.
If any one is familiar with this tv you already know that the screen is somewhat like a fabric material and easily can be scratched by accident.
I would like to know if there is a repair kit or product that I can purchase to at least hide or repair some of these scrathes. Thank you.
If this is the clear smooth screen, yes you can
go to your local glass & paint store & have a new
protective screen cut for that size. If this is
the screen with thin lines etched in it from
top to bottom..vertically is the Lenticular
lens & no there is no way to repair, you must replace, with new or used. Go to ebay under
projection tv parts see if you can locate someone having your size for sale & bid on it or email them to outright purchase it.

if the screen is that bad, you may want to try with some commercial available polish for glass or plastic, like plast-x. you can get that in any auto parts store or your local walmart...
