Not drain my washer is giving me a message (dL) in the middle of the washing cycle. I can t open the door, the first time I was able to open the washer and noticed the clothes was soaking wet, so I tried it one more time. What can be the problem?

    i am pretty sure is the switch failure, although i still can't open the door how do i do it?

DL is the fault code for door lock error and occurs if the CCU (Cental Control Unit)"recognize" that door is unlocked. Potential reasons for it: - Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure - In this case it should be replaced. - Door Lock unit is broken or removed from the door. - Look for disconnected wires to the door Lock/Switch unit and to the CCU. - Door Lock/Switch unit Failure

    You should remove machine's top cover and then you will have an access to the door lock unit.
    Be aware you should discconect machine's power cable first !!

Kemore Elite Front Load washer was flashing F11 and i repeated the drain, spin cycle several times. now flashing dL and F . The door is locked so I am unable to remove wet clothing.
Try lowering the drain hose onto the ground and see if the water comes out. Turn off at the wall and then back on again a few minutes later. See if the door unlocks this time. Most front loaders wont let you open the door if it thinks its still full of water.

My magtag 5000 series washer is flashing error code F21, It was in the middle of a wash cycle and now the door is locked and it won't open. How do I at least get the door open. I have unplugged the
Unplug the washer. Then plug it back in and press the button that turns it off. This should unlock the door. Same thing happened on mine and there was a kink in the drain hose. Once I unkinked the hose, unplugged it, plugged it back in, turned it off, then I was able to run a drain & spin cycle to get the water out of the load that was in the washer. I then ran a full wash cycle (they'd gotten stuck in the first drain & spin cycle of a wash) and everything seems to be fine now.

Will start the wash cycle and DL come on and light blinks and lid lock unlock (Whirlpool Cabrio model# WED6400SW)
Hi,

"dl"indicates a door lock error. A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error.
Check for the following when dl occurs:
  • Door Lock Mechanism broken.
  • Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly for foreign objects
  • Check Wire Harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

Put it at finish. Unplug it for 5 min and replug it in. The door has a time delay on it! If not, try putting it at spin!

Stops during cycle. Door stays locked. Won't reset to restart.
Hi, here is a procedure that you can preform to reset the board(control). if the same problem exists after the reset, you may have to call he service tech.


Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Select
DRAIN/SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer.
Re-select cycle and press HOLD TO START. If the problem
remains, call for service.

>"dL" indicates Door Lock Failure: dL flashes if the following conditions occur:
Door lid is not closed completely due to interference.
Wash media buildup is preventing the lock bolt from extending.
Machine/motor control detects open door lid switch when attempting to lock.
Machine/motor control cannot determine if door lock is in a locked state.
Check for lock interference with lid or lock bezel

Cycle wont start then I get Error / dl
the dl code is a door lock error,open door and examine door lock assy mounted on front panel.look for a plastic push pin approx 5inches up from square lock assy.if that pin is missing,replace door lock.if pin is there,you could still have bad door lock or loose wire connected to door lock.
