Kenmore 417. 4405200 Front Load Washer error code E43

I?m stuck, and desperately need help. The washer completes wash cycles, but never spins. After performing the diagnostic test from the washer tech data sheet, I get error code E43 (Control Board problem) the washer does spin in the diagnostic test. I ordered a new control board, replaced it, same result. I then ordered the speed control board, same result. I have performed a continuity check on every wire in the washer, both vacuum tubes are clear; the pump is clear and pumps the water out. One of the Shock Absorber, air, stabilizers is broken (on back order until the end of the month) should be here the 31st. Any ideas ???? Thanks in advance De_fender

No, the washer was not loaded when I preformed the diagnostic. however I have been washing cloths and then using the last step of the diagnostic test to spin the cloths out.

I have the EXACT same problem and I feel like rising up in revolt against Sears Canada. I bought this machine in good faith - and I'm incredibly frustrated.

It's a bad wax motor inside the door latch. The diagnostics are buggy and do not test it properly. It should measure about 1.5K ohms, and when 120 VAC is applied to it, it should extend in about a minute. Part number 12002535 is $10 to $15.

If your bad wax motor is a 0.05A rating, replace it with a 99001807. It should measure about 1.5K ohms.

If your bad wax motor is a 0.12A rating, replace it with a 12002535. It should measure about 1.0K ohms.

For me was door lock switch. glad i didn't listen to trouble shooting chart that came with washer, code 43=control board. was going to try speed contol board till i read de fenders story. now i have big @#$%^&* pile of wash to do.

Same problem here too. My washer is only 18 months old. I have only gotten so far as to get the error code, which is a 43.
Should I go through the Diagostic test and see if the machine spins?
I am a total amateur here, but I refuse to pay a repair person to come out for an 18 month old washer. Ugh.

Have you cleaned your machine lately? They make an in wash boost- it gets rid of the extra suds built up inside the machine that you cant see but your machine detects it and causes faults such as that. Also, there is a small wire on the control board that may need replaced if it keeps kicking the error code.

Kenmore fHE 2 plus front load washer does not drain and does not complete the spin and drain cycle. Error code f-21.

Means the drain is too long. Under the front lower panel is a sump filter. Remove the filter by turning ccw and clean.

Kenmore 44052 will not spin. Replaced door switch still will not spin. Ran diagnostics (code E43) so I replaced motor control board still will not spin. Could not get out of diagnostics so I replaced...

Have you pulled the pump and checked for obstructions? There may be something in the pump itself; you will need to check that...

If your problem can't solve, keep in mind that the error codes means physical wrongs, so, E43 is a door-locking problem or "board comunication problems".
