Now I know the veo site is down, and there's pretty much one site that lets you download the driver.
My webcam works on yahoo, but it doesn't work on msn or aim.
I just get a gray screen when I go into the Webcam settings.
And when I go into audio video set up, I see the webcam.
here's a pic

Audio/video setup = Right
Does anyone know what I should do?

Re:
It would appear to me either your "Drivers" are not installed correctly OR MSN/AIM aint finding the Input.. Try uninstalling & reinstalling all Drivers and software... after that maybe try a "Repair" of MSN... Are you using Vista? If so then it is imperitive that ya get a Vista driver... I have had great sucess with the "Look123" driver from M$ update site. Else Vista don't ... well won't play nice with others ...

Everything I have read on the web (at least 10 sites) tells me there are no drivers for the Veo Stingray webcam on Vista. It may be time for a new webcam. Sorry :(
If you need VeoStingRay Webcam Drivers, try http://www.softsci.com/veodrivers.htm Verify and select the Webcam Model and download drivers according to your Operating System.
You can download VEO Webcam Drivers http://www.veo.web.tr/tr/downloads/drivers.html Select Stingray and download drivers according to your Operating System
NB: The site is in Turkish but you can easily find your way around the site.
This fix will work for all of the VEO Stingray problems because it
gives a good driver download site and it tells you step by step how to
get your cam to work with VISTA Good Luck and let me know if this fixed
your problems.
1.Go to this site and download the driver you need: http://www.softsci.com/veodrivers.htm
2.Download it to your desktop
3. Don't unzip, install, or plug in your cam yet
4.Search for this in your start menu: Program Compatibility Wizard
5. Of the three choices click the one that says look for the program manually
6. Choose the option for XP
7. Choose the 680 x 420 or whatever it is not the 256 colors
8. Choose to run as administrator
9. Click next and it should change your screen to a real big resolution and then it will start to install the driver
10. Go through the install wizard
11. After it has loaded plug in your camera
12. Try a program that it is supposed to work with
13. Finish the Compatibility Wizard
now everything should work for your cam. This works with all of your programs that vista will not run.
The first step of this solution has a website that you can download the exact driver that you will need and if your running vista your problems are now fixed.
