Question about Philips GoGear SA178 MP3 Player

1 Answer

I cant get it to stay on!

I push the button to turn it on, and it just shuts right back off. It is fully charged so I cant figure out what the problem is. I only used it for two days before it started doing this. What do I do??

I had the same problem and then realized that although the battery may appear to be in, it was not all the way. Try reinserting the battery, making sure you press the battery all the way in and then try it.

If it is almost new, return it to where you bought it for a replacement. There are no user serviceable parts inside the player. Note that most players require the button to be held for a few seconds at turn on.

New Bigfoot toy for XMAS buzzes three times and stops working. Reset with power switch and does the same thing repeatedly. Made sure battery was fully charged.

There is a pen hole beside power switch........with the power off press and hold this button (with a safety pen or something)....while holding the button turn it on and hold the button for at least 3 seconds. Then push every button on the remote, then charge the battery until the indicator is "green". That will fully reset your Bigfoot.

When i push the power key it beeps and two lights appear then it shuts off its been a while since ive charged it

Visit:Peeplo.com/Free+Repair+Manual & im almost sure as i have a disability scooter when its not in use use a decent trickle charger they can be left plugged in for up to 3 months,so your batteries are fully charged all the time & plug back in even if you do a 100 yards trip, lets be honest the batteries are not cheap,so get the most out of them.or if not in use for any period after they are fully charged disconnect them.

  2. When the power indicator on the top of the HP iPAQ Pocket PC turns solid amber, the unit is fully charged and can be disconnected from the AC adapter (approximate time to fully charge a unit is four hours).
NOTE: The amber charge light blinks while the battery is recharging and turns solid (nonblinking) when the battery is fully charged. In the event of a low backup battery warning, charge the unit immediately before removing the main battery to avoid data loss. To view the amount of charge left in the backup battery, tap Start, Settings, the System tab, and Power.

My camera turns on then turns back off right away!

Hi Most proberly the batery is shot. It wil be fully charged but it does not have "the amps" in this case miliamps to do the job. Pushing out the lens uses alot of the amps "miliamps" and the fact that it can't even rectract the lens back is a sure sign. If possible take the camera to a digital shop and test it with a known good batery!

My laptop will not turn on.

Sir only 2 problems are probable.

1 > Your laptop's RAM is faulty now...yeah it happens without any reason and its also cheap to replace it with new RAM.

2 > Your laptop's Mother board is having problems. It may have problem either in any module or in whole chip board. Its usually a costly affair to replace or repair it. And i wish it should now be your problem.

On my Colby player there is a small reset hole in the back. Mine has sometimes just stopped playing and shuts off. If you use a small wire (paperclip works well) push it in and reset it.
