How to access the video input channel for my Konka tv?

How do you access the video input channel for this tv (so I can set up my new Phillips DVD/VCR player/Recorder to record or play), but not having the original remote control for the TV any longer?

How to connect HDMI set top box to analogue VCR and then to Digital tv to record

Most set top boxes with HDMI also have a yellow video out and white audio out for connection to a VCR or DVD recorder. Connect these two RCA cables to the VCR's yellow and white INPUTS for recording. Set the VCR to LINE input. For VCR playback, connect yellow video and white audio OUTS from VCR to your TV's yellow and white INPUTS. Select this input on the TV set.

Phillips dvdplayervideorecorder connect w/zinwell converter box

First off get the TV on the right channel. It will either be ch3 or ch4. If you are using a cable box the dvd/vcr combo will have to be on ch3 or ch4 as well. OK, Make sure the input connector on the combo is hooked to the output connector of the cable box and the output connector of the combo is hooked to the input connector of the tv. Deal with one part at a time. First hook the combo to the tv and get the tv on the right channel (ch3 or ch4) so that you can see a pre-recorded dvd or video play. Then you will know what channel the tv is supposed to be on. When you find it don't bother the tv channel any more. Stop the dvd or video and hook up the cable box and turn on the cable box and set the box to a known good channel. Now put the combo on ch3 or ch4 with the combo's channel selector buttons until you see the cable box playing on the tv (remember you already set up the tv channel). Change channels on the box but don't bother the channels on the tv or combo anymore. You can put the box on whatever channel you want. The box will be your channel selector. I certainly hope that this helps. I know it can be confusing but don't give up. Just remember that the tv and combo have to always be on ch3 or ch4 (which ever one you found before). Good luck and thanks.

Need the remote code for a phillips dvd player

These are the codes printed in the owners manual for your dvd/vcr player. If they do not work you will have to contact Emerson and ask them for help getting the code. The contact number should have come with the instructions for the remote. Just give them the model number of you remote and the units model number and they should be able to help you. I hope this information helps you with your problem. Switch the input selector on your TV to an appropriate external input channel (usually near channel 0).
Press a button on the TV’s original remote control that selects an external input channel until the DVD
recorder’s picture appears. Check your TV owner’s manual for details.

I have a rca dvd recorder+vcr combo drc8320n i want to set up watching/changing cabletv channels on the dvd remote. i have tried buying universal remotes cheap& expensive but they no longer work on my

With cable input connected to "RF in"on rear of unit make sure vidoe input is set to "Tuner". This will show up on the TV screen. Change channels numerically or using up/down arrow keys on DVR remote. Note there is a slight pause between changing channels. You probably will have to "autoscan" for channel setup/etc. If you say your TV set is old; it probabaly is equiped with coax
connection only/set TV channel to "3" or "4". when yot opt to play vcr/dvd it will override your
cable channel selected. Hope this helps!

Dvd hookup to phillips tv without inputs

Have yourself a VCR that has a Scart input, or Video in, and feed the DVD in there. Connect your TV to the VCR, and tune it in to the video channel, using aerial lead and tuner.

When you flick VCR to AV1 (or similar) you should see the DVD appear on the TV Video Channel :)

Magnavox DV220mw9 won't record from Tv, hard to connect

check out this diagram, paying close attention to the audio video cable hookups.

assume the cable tv box represents the converter box

you are going to come out of the converter box audio and video outputs into the new magnavox dvd/vcr combo audio and video inputs.

Then out of the new magnavox dvd/vcr combo outputs to the inputs on the tv if it has such inputs. The TV will have to operate on the video input 1 or 2 if the tv has such a thing, use the remote for the tv to adjust the input signal to line in 1 or 2 depending on what it has.

If the tv has no coaxial input or audio video inputs then you might have to use an adapter, you can get these from radio shack.

You say it will not record from the tv, but in all actuality the dvd vcr combo is getting the signal from the converter box not the tv, do you understand what I mean here?

So the dvd vcr combo gets input from the converter box so you will have to set it to view signal from the line input you have plugged in from the converter box. line 1 or 2 or whatever the input is.

the tv will have to be set on the line input to view the signal from the dvd vcr combo.

That is as easy as I can put it. Study the diagram closely. You will see what I mean.

Connecting VCR to TV

Oh man dont shoot your stuff instead use your remote and go to your menu and select your input. You tv is looking at your coaxial input but you can select which input you want. 1, 2 front back whatever you need. channell 3 or 4 has nothing to do with connecting up your dvd if you connect and choose the front connection in your menu.

if your DVD player supports a HDMI cable a single cable is enough for both audio and video channel.

but both your player and TV must support HDMI.

DVD input with signal access

IF I understand you correctly, the VCR, Satellite, etc is connected using an RF modulator/coaxial cable wire going into Antenna in

IF this is true, then you have an AV IN port (red, yellow, white) free on the back. Just connect the red, yellow, white from the out of the DVD - you can use 1 or 2 - just remember which one you used; and connect it to the AV IN on the back of the TV.

THEN press ch down on the TV remote until you get to "AV1" - it is below channel 2; double check DVD player to make DVD is playing and voila!
