New to blade sharpening..i have done research and following proper techniques to putting the blades back together with approximately the width of a credit cards distance between blades when assembling. About half of the blades are pulling hair out. I sharpened, oiled, and used hand to wrist tension when putting the screws back in.

I did not solve the problem, but I doubt if you have an answer for me.
I will just use the blades as I have put them back together, and hope they are attached correctly on the comb part of the blade. There is an area on the tension spring that allows it to move forward or backward when the screws are attached to the comb part of the blade. I am not sure exactly how to adjust it when screwing it to the comb. If it is slid back, the cutter part of the blade will be set back. If it is slid forward, the cutter blade teeth will be nearer the edge of the comb part of the blade. The cutter still rides on the rails of the comb okay, but I am sure there is an exact position for proper re-assembly.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

hi, not sure of the sharpener you have but to be honest it is very hard to sharpen blades getting the correct hollow grind is essential we receive lots of blades that have been ruined by other sharpening companies.

not usually we will not sharpen blades that are worn out as we cannot charge for something that does not cut!
make sure your blade is connecting with the drive of your clipper they might need an extra push depending if the blade has been adjusted.
