Question about Andis Agc Super 2-speed Clipper International 220-volt Dog Grooming Clippers

My clipper smoked and now it wont run at all

Plugged in clipper, it started smoking from the blade and smelled bad, now they are dead, did they blow up?

Sounds like your motor went out. You might as well buy new clippers for the price to fix them. One thing that causes that is when you spray your coolant to not hold your clippers blade up. Keep them blade down. The coolant can run into your clippers and burn them up. You only want to use grease inside your clippers.

You don't mention what that smell is reminiscent of?

You don't mention the colour of the "smoke" and you didn't say whether the engine is petrol or diesel?

You don't mention whether the road behaviour/performance is normal?

White smoke is almost always steam or in the case of a diesel it could be an unburned fuel mist, grey/black is excess fuel and blue or grey/blue is burning oil.

Some steam is fairly normal until the engine and exhaust system is hot but excessive amounts could be one symptom of head gasket trouble. If the engine is drinking coolant and sending it through the exhaust as steam it will sometimes smell spicy.

Burning oil smells a bit like burned eggs in the frying pan.

If the car hasn't ultra-low sulphur oil and fuel the catalytic converter will convert sulphur traces into hydrogen sulphide - the bad egg gas...

Its not the drive belt. You have a bearing or etc. out.
I just have problem. The spindle bearing was bad.

Lever arm worn, blade blunt, or loss of movement inside the gearbox. It is possible to have a 'bad' sharpen.

sounds like a bad bearing take the belt off and see what pulley is hard to turn look for the one with dark marks on it from the belt

Heater vents blow blue smoke and smell of burnt leaves

Check you cabin filter it is under hood on pass side near wiper blades
If the blower motor is running fine and no smell from there.

I got the blades wet while my A-5 2 speed clipper was plugged in and now the unit is dead, is there a reset or fuse that requires attention ?

My best advise is to send your A5 Clipper to a professional service center or repair dealer. Because you are dealing with electricity caution is need when repairing. Cleaning Oster 78004-011 Clippers and blades

OK compressed air is perfect for your clipper, thats all it needs! Take the filters off (at the bottome of the clipper, either side of the cable) periodically and clear from excess fur. Replace. As far as the blades are concerened, Brush the excess furr off with a toothbrush or similar. Slide the cutter (smaller of the 2 blades) to one side (past half way but not all the way off!) clean exposed teeth on both blades with a bit of oil and a toothbrush, push the cutter the other way and repeat. Blade wash's tend to rust the blades, you need a big pot of WD-40. Get a 5 litre tub from the internet, only thing is there, postage will be a killer. I work for a clipper repair, blade sharpening company and we have it delivered by the truckload! Do what you do with the blade wash, but do it in WD-40. Wipe off excess afterwards and dont soak the clipper in any liquid because of electrc shock.
