Battery won't charge

I bought a new battery for my vision m and it wont charge it can you help me The battery icon only has a small amber line at the bottom of the battery icon. the bolt does flash. it tries to charge for a while but shuts down I reset it and that did not help.

Can anybody help me??????

I try to charge it through a USB port and the blue LED light flashes for a while, then the battery icon with the bolt flashes on the screen as it would if charging but it never goes over the red battery level and eventually it shuts off and goes back to the blue LED light blinking.

Battery light won't change colors, drops to 0% once unplugged

Let the battery completely discharge all they way and let it sit for a day or so. Some times when a battery is new most user do not let it fully charge and then completely drain this causes problems for long use batteries. Then give it a try. It also sounds like your plug your cord that connects to the battery may be faulty. Did you by a different cord with the battery? Or use the one from your old one? If you did. This is a "No No" always buy the cord that come for those battery since they are rated for the particular battery.

there is an icon beside the clock in the corner of your screen it's an battery just click on it and it will show small box for power saving down the lines there is small box just click in that box if you see an X over your battery icon then you need to replace the battery if not just get back to me

Laptops are so integrated that usually a system failure that involves power issues such as in your case where you cant get it turn on with anything on the screen mean the mainboard (motherboard) is damaged. This usually leads to buying a new laptop or paying for the board to be replaced which usually costs as much as the laptop.

Turning on problems..

Is the power source a 15v 5a or a 15v 8A? You more than likely have a Dead system board. The blinking amber AC power led usually means a power failure due to improper voltage or amperage.
More than likely caused by a 3rd party (non-Toshiba) adapter.
