Hi

The issue can either be a bad electronic control/clock assembly or the oven temperature sensor (probe) has gone bad. To solve this issue start by checking the oven temp. sensor for 1100 ohms, if the rating is more then that then check the control and door switch and replace the part that is bad. Hope this helps...

I have a Jenn-Air double oven drop-in prior to 1997 with a FO trouble light showing. What is the usual repair for the failure?

Hello,

The FO error codes means that a button on the touchpad has shorted out and teh touchpad needs to be replaced. In some cases you will get that error code because the ribbon cable on the touchpad hasa loose connection at the clock. check that the connection is tight.
The error code can be cleared by pushing the clear/off button,if it returns the touchpad will need to be replaced.

F-1 code

Usually a bad touchpad,sometimes a bad control board(ERC).
Try turning off the power to the oven, remove the front panel.
Disconnect,then re-connect the touchpad ribbon.
Reapply power and try the controls.
Sometimes it is just a bad connection.

The Jenn-Air Gas Range Electronic touch control 800. The key pad does not work. You can not set the clock or work the oven. Help.

My Jenn Air has the same problem with the computer touchpad. The only temperature I can get to work is from the left hand column, 411 degrees. I don't want to waste another dime on this oven. I've read so many complaints from other owners. No more Jenn Air products for me.

I have 1c 1c code what happening ?

Communication problem from touchpad to board. This is difficult to diagnose and usually turns out being the control bad rather than the board. Hope this helps. Either way they are both pretty costly parts. Good luck.

My older jenn air double wall oven

shooter, F1 is usually the touchpad failure. You can try disconnecting the touchpad ribbon from the control and cleaning the ends with an eraser. See if the F1 stops. Catriver.
