Re: my webcam aint working
OK one has to "Select" the Camera for it to work on the Web, also one must use a webcam program... there a quite a few goodones.. WebcamXP is good... when the Driver and program is installed THEN one sets up the Camera, and selects which Port to use for outward traffic. OR if ya use MSN etc, then you must also set the camera up for use in this too.. there is a Wisard to help with this in MSN.. when you go to sewtup a video call... Google this --> freeware webcam programs download and select whichever one ya like and install.. hopefully that will get ya going.

its a little harder to upload photos on a web cam that is mounted on the laptop as in order to keep them in focus they are generally set for a 2-3 ft away focus plane. Although still possible you would need to hold the photo steady at that distance and create a still image. At any rate this image will only be as good as your web cams resolution, so a scan is a much better photo way to transfer and wont have the bad background around it like the web cam photo. A scan will help you crop it too.
as for the actual use of the web cam you will have a program that you need to launch. Skype.com has its own program and you are able to take photos with it and communicate live as well. go through your programs list on the left hand corner of your screen choose Start, Programs, and look through them one by one until you get one that has the web cam program. if none of them do get the skype and try it instead.
When the cam is connected to the computer no pics will show on the LCD. While charging through the USB the cam. will not be able to transferre pics at the same time.
The cam either charges or transferres.
Hi, you can put photos on facebook. Just follow the simple steps.
1. Log in to your account. Next to your profile pic, there is written "What's on your mind?". Just below that bar you can see "Attach" option written. Very first option is "photos", click on that option.
2. On clicking on "photos", it will show a series of options like you want to "upload a Photo from your drive" or "take a Photo with a web cam", or "create an album with many photos".
3. If you wish to create an albu, click on that option. It will asl for
"Album name", "Location", "Privacy".
4.After these fill up activity, you will be able to upload photo in the next step.
If you download MSN your web cam will be active (as long as you dont have the setting to hide your cam from other users) you can also go into your photo gallery and import a pic from a camera or scanner it will show you the camera to select and take the photo . Hope this was usefull . What do you want to use your cam for
there is no problem with your cam for sure.
you must have changed the setting of the cam
adjust the shutterspeed and the aparture. and your problem will be solved... or
dont keep the cam on manual mode.. keep it on automatic settings and it should work.
also check out this link to learn more about how to use aparture and shutterspeed..... http://www.learnslr.com/slr-beginner-guide/digital-slr-learning-guide/av-mode-aperture-priority
several ways- If the webcam software shows a thumbnail and allows you to open the pic, do that. Then right click on the pic (if in windows picture viewer / gallery), and go to properties. There it will tell you where it is stored. Or you could just try doing a search on your drive for any picture files created in the past 24 hours.
