Dishwasher When the dishwasher runs you hear a ticking noise. It is a Bosch SHV66A03 Undercounter, Electronic dishwasher. Any ideas on what would cause the ticking????

The sound is in the lower section, close to the floor and the dishes are not getting clean. I believe you might be right about something being caught in the impeller. I will try to investigate. Any other ideas????

If you coud describe where you hear the noise that would be helpfull. the noise could be somethig hilling one of the spray arms or something stuck in the pump impeller. if you only wear it when it is only in a wash cycle I would say it may be someting in the wash pump. But also make sure the spray arms are moving freely

My dishwasher computer is not resetting. It apprears to be stuck in a cycle. is there a way to reset it?

Hello,

The Cycle is due to a process some Cyclic ~ Redundancy,...loL...:) Confused Computer Processes. Try to Unplug it completely from the Power Source. Leave it a while, turn it on while unplugged for a bit of time, like 2 minutes, turn if off, plug it back in. And try running it again. :)

Unable to turn off the delay start and the latch is in the wrong position so that the door will not close properly. Also, there is no digital display--it remains dark. I tried the cancel/drain, which...

Pull the open handle to open the latch up and try to get it to close. Disconnect the power to the machine for a few minutes. Run a cycle that you don't usually run. See if that helps.

Bosch dishwasher timer freezing

There is a recall on the control board of many of these models, butyour problem is likely not related. It sounds like a plugged drain system or a possible bad drain pump. That's why you are hearing the pump running constantly. I have written a guide to help. It is here. Thanks!

Bosch dishwasher SHU66C02UC

You have water in the base of the machine. There is a flood float in the bottom so if any water gets into the base, it will shut off the water and run the drain pump as long as the power button is on. So shut off the breaker, remove the toe kick, and remove any water that is down there. Now start the machine and see if water is leaking into the base. If there isn't any water, an the dw is still running the drain pump, then with a wooden spoon raise the red plastice stick on the left side of the dishwasher up and down. It is possible that the overfil float is stuck. If this makes the dw start filling, then run cooking oil thru the dishwasher on the scrub cycle to remove excessive detergent. If you are in hard water, then the water deposits have caused this. Run citric acid ( Tang orange drink, Dishwasher Magic, or such) thru the dishwasher to remove this.
